Your health is worth
the investment.
We rely on our bodies to keep up with busy lives – but taking care
of ourselves is often pushed to the bottom of the list.

Dr. Castel Santana, MD/CFMP
Evoke 5 Medical Center is the vision of Dr. Castel Santana, MD/CFMP. Known to his patients and community as Dr. Cas, he
is a board-certified family medicine doctor and Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner dedicated to using his knowledge
to help others.
Dr. Cas was born and raised most of his life in Anchorage, Alaska. He graduated from Minnesota State Moorhead with a
dual major in biology and chemistry. During his time in college, Dr. Cas developed a passion for medicine and a desire to heal
others. This led him down his next path: attending medical school in St. Maarten, National Alliance.
Dr. Cas’ studies in medical school spurred an even deeper passion for family medicine, and he was accepted to the
University of Maryland. After graduating residency, Dr. Cas began delivering his unique model of health care to patients,
blending the best of integrative and functional medicine. He also completed the requirements to become a Certified
Functional Medicine Practitioner.
Over his years as a family medicine doctor, Dr. Cas has come to believe that the current health care approach is broken.
Despite more medicine being prescribed and more money being spent, people continue to get sicker. Dr. Cas is passionate
about creating a family medicine clinic where patients are listened to, where root causes are uncovered, and where real
healing takes place.

Lauren Doyle, FNP-C
Lauren Doyle, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, is a board-certified Family Nurse
Practitioner specializing in functional and longevity medicine. A graduate
of Texas Woman’s University, Lauren brings more than a decade of clinical
experience spanning both acute and preventative care. Her career has
given her a unique perspective on the full spectrum of health—from caring
for patients during some of their most critical moments to helping them
identify opportunities to improve their health long before a crisis occurs.
Today, Lauren practices with an integrative mindset, drawing from both
allopathic and functional medicine to understand the whole patient rather
than treating symptoms in isolation. She enjoys digging deeper into a
patient’s history, symptoms, lifestyle, and biomarkers to uncover patterns
and better understand what may be contributing to how they feel.
Her clinical interests include hormone and thyroid optimization,
metabolic health and medical weight management, peptide therapy,
advanced laboratory and biomarker interpretation, and detoxification.
Lauren is passionate about helping patients understand their own health
and creating individualized, practical strategies to help them feel better,
function better, and support long-term health and longevity.
When she isn’t seeing patients, Lauren is a wife and mother to her three
beautiful girls. She has been married to her husband Derek for over a
decade and together they embrace the beautiful chaos that comes with
raising three daughters.
5 Pillars of Health & Wellness©
Dr. Cas wants to highlight that the practice's overarching philosophy is based in integrative functional medicine: finding the
root cause of disease and chronic conditions- overarching philosophy of our practice. We will find the root cause of what
ails you or focus on prevention. How.. is the 5 pillars (guidelines- copied right in 2014 by Dr. Cas) allow us to start looking at
the root cause (looking at data- over 100 biomarkers) within those 5 pillars by collecting data. Discuss the broken system of
preventative medicine and insurance-based healthcare/diagnosis codes. optimal to get initial lab analysis, genetic test, and
mitochondrial function- then gut test, toxin burden the retest throughout the patient journey to show improvements.
